DON'T TOUCH THE EDGES

Don’t touch the edges!
1.  Think of size-view-placement and compose 4 thumbnail sketches on the sheet given to you  in your sketchbook. Make sure your composition touches 2 or more sides
2.   Look carefully and close and MAP each value change without coloring in each area. You will have a line drawing of every change you can detect on the pool ball, the ground and the shadows.
3.  Prime your canvas orange and pick your composition
4.  Draw your view onto the canvas and begin to paint each area. DO NOT PAINT THE LINES!
You will leave a small bit of red canvas between each color/value change.
